Meet Chris Hereth, founder of The Senior Living Connection

Chris Hereth, a seasoned marketing professional with over two decades of experience, created The Senior Living Connection as a sub-brand of his company, CJ Media Group, LLC. Throughout the years, businesses of all types - from cell phone repair shops to pet-sitters to restaurants - hired CJ Media Group to support their marketing efforts. However, in 2019, a pivotal moment arrived when Chris was entrusted with the sales and marketing responsibilities at Windsor Lodge Assisted Living, an assisted living and memory care facility in Jasper, GA. This marked his introduction to the senior living industry.

Utilizing his marketing expertise, Chris swiftly propelled Windsor Lodge – and its sister community, Windsor House Assisted Living - to the top spot of Google’s organic search results, which led to 100% occupancy rates at both facilities in a very short time. What he discovered during this time was more than a professional milestone - it was a personal calling. While engaging with the residents (and their families) on a regular basis, he developed a personal connection with them, which helped him realize a passion for helping seniors, specifically in the senior living industry.

Although his contract at Windsor Lodge was limited to a few months, he assumed the role of Director of Marketing at Phoenix Senior Living shortly thereafter, which allowed him to help more seniors find their forever home. Drawing from his digital marketing expertise, he secured prime spots for all 40 of Phoenix's senior living facilities on Google's coveted first page of organic search rankings, most of which made it to the #1 spot.

After his departure from Phoenix, Chris briefly worked as a Sales Counselor at a Brookdale Senior Living community but ultimately decided to continue with his passion for marketing and senior living by creating The Senior Living Connection.
